Effective Communication Solutions For Small Businesses
It sure feels good to find an effective solution to a business need. This is what we as a business have managed to achieve after many months of searching. So what was the need? I can hear you all asking. Well we required a way of enabling our mobile staff to communicate effectively with our main office which is based in Wolverhampton. By communication I mean forwarding management and sales reports, invoices and the like.
Our small business has been through a massive expansion and acquisition drive over the past 10 years. This has been some what of a rollercoaster experience and as an employee who has been at the company throughout this period it has been, let's say, interesting. In fact I could write a book about the whole thing. We provide affordable latex gloves.
One aspect of the business that has really changed in this decade is the amount of mobile staff that we now employ. This has increased ten fold in this period and this trend looks set to continue in the future. These mobile staff produce a large amount of data which needs to be fed back to our head office in the most effective way.
After sourcing the different mobile workforce management options we have now signed up with a data capture solutions specialist. We managed to locate this company via the internet and after a number of successful and interesting meetings have now moved things forward. They showed us an example of their work with two of their clients - an air compressors and a wedding invitations company.
Three months later and we as a business are more than happy with this solution. The data capture solutions company stated that they could deliver an effective communication tool for us and they most certainly have done.
Well that is one problem out of the way - there are now just another ten or so left to deal with - what a life!
