Best Of The Prom Hairstyles
Prom is all about preparation and out-doing your classmates. Even though we say we just want to "look our best," deep down we're striving for "the absolute best." Part of this prep-work is examining the latest runway and red carpet fashions for the year to find prom hairstyles. To create an edgy and extraordinary look, you'll have to consider dyeing your hair, choosing from updos, the possibility of hair extensions and buying new professional salon hair products that will keep the frizz at bay and the curls in place all night long.
Looking back to history is a great way to find great hairstyles. Bobs first captured the fashion world by storm in the 1920s, offering easy and edgy looks for women that persist even today. Or you can take it up a notch. Why not look to 1930s glamorous starlets for an elegant and chic prom hairstyle this year? The idea is to accent a long-hemmed dress by elongating your form even further with hair coiffed close to the head, such as with stylized waves. For this look, your hair should be between chin and shoulder-length and parted to the side. Long hairstyles can mimic this look by French-braiding diagonally along the hairline from a side-part, with the back of the hair coiled up into a low, braided chignon. To create the waves, you'll need to start with damp hair coated in jojoba-based "hot sauce" to protect the hair, coaxing the waves into form using the diffuser of an FHI heat blow dryer and a small-barrel curling iron.
For medium-length prom hairstyles, no look is more versatile and eye-catching for both straight and curly hair than the low chignon. These formal hairstyles are seen at all the gala red carpet events, at weddings and in movies. To achieve this look, you'll bring your hair into a low ponytail. For a sexier look, you can secure this low ponytail slightly to the side below your ear. Next, loosely wrap your locks in a circle around the bottom of your head, securing with several bobby pins like Scünci's No-Slip Grip No Damage Bobby Pins. Remember that a little messy is always a good thing. A shine/hairspray combination will finish and hold this style. Many girls choose to leave this one to the professionals, which is probably a smart move. Katherine Heigl and Jessica Simpson have sported this timeless fashion. You can also add braids, flowers or clips to medium hairstyles for a pick-me-up. Extensions are another option if you crave those long, voluptuous locks.
The prom hairstyles you're considering need to complement your total look. If your dress is short, black, artsy and party-girl, then you can pull off that Kelly Osbourne punk cut and color or that outrageous 80s Agyness Deyn or perhaps even a messy Helena Bonham Carter nest. However, if your dress is long and made of satin, then the punk rock hair can be disastrous. You may want to stick with a French roll, a chignon or something long, curly and romantic. If you're wearing a dress with a high neckline, then be sure to wear your hair up to accentuate the neck of your dress. If you have a dress with a long, floating skirt, then consider wearing your hair down so the movement of your hair compliments the movement of your dress. By following these tips, you're sure to be classy with professional, salon hair styling for your prom.

Where is the centrifugal switch on a hayward power-flo matrix pump?
The pump was running fine. I turned it off for a couple of seconds and tried to turn it back on and now it just hums. The manual says either the centrigual switch is stuck in the OPEN position or the motor shaft is binding. The motor seems to turn ok and the manual doesn't show where the centrifugal switch is located.
Yes, the guys above are correct the centrifugal switch is in the motor its what engages your starting circuit, Did it mention the possibility of a blown capacitor? I have seen instances where a motor was running fine with a blown capacitor but when you shut it off it won't restart , because the capacitor isnt in circuit. Good Luck Hope this helps.
